What Is Vector Quantity
What is vector quantity
Physics is a branch of Science that studies all natural things or phenomenons.
Vector in Physics is a type of quantity. In Physics, there are Vector and Scalar quantities.
Vector Quantities are quantities in which it has a numerical value or any value with a direction. On the other hand, Scalar quantities deal with numerical value or values only with no direction whatsoever.
To further understand this:
"5m/s" is a Scalar Quantity
"5m/s, North" is a Vector Quantity
See the difference? In the Scalar it only had 5m/s which had a numerical value and unit and in the Vector Quantity, same value, same unit but it had a DIRECTION.
